Heritage Homes Visits


Tours are included with Museum admission and are FREE for Museum Members.

SUMMER HOURS:
From May 31 through September 1, 2014
Daily at 10:30 and 11:30 AM, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 PM

WINTER HOURS:
From September 3, 2013 through May 30, 2014
Saturdays and Sunday, 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM

Visit the home of philanthropists, world travellers and visual artists Peter and Catharine (Robb) Whyte. Marvel at the romantic vision reflected in the home of collectors and community leaders Philip and Pearl (Brewster) Moore. Enjoy an intimate look at the homes and worldly yet simple lifestyles of the people who inhabited them.
Note: These 30 minute tours are offered on a first come, first served basis and are limited to eight people.

Admission to the Whyte Museum is by donation, all tours are included.

Luxton Open House


Visit the historic Luxton Home, 206 Beaver Street, a short walk from the Museum. Decorated in the Luxton's unique style, the home reveals the family's close ties to the Stoney people and their contribution to the community of Banff.
