Peter & Catharine Whyte Cards

A selection of eight note cards (with envelopes) with works by painters Peter and Catharine Whyte.  All works are from the Art Collection of the Whyte Museum and include scenes from original canvases painted between 1930 - 1955.  These wonderful images include landscapes from Banff and Yoho National Parks, First Nations and skiers.

Cards from the Japanese Collection

These lovely cards are reproduced from the Art Collection of the Whyte Museum which has an extensive selection of original Japanese woodblock prints donated by Edward S. Morse.  Images on these cards include prints from such celebrated artists as Hiroshige, Utamaro and Shunsho.

Mary Schaffer Wildflowers Cards

Few tourists have left such a mark as did Mary Schaffer.  As an explorer, writer and artist, her name became synonymous with the exploration of the Canadian Rockies.  Her illustrious botanical watercolours of Wildflowers of the Rockies are reproduced here in card form and show her love of science and the mountains.
