Peter Whyte (1905-1966, Canadian) was invited to many public and private ceremonies of the Stoney Nakoda and as a recognized friend, he was authorized to capture on canvas many portraits and scenic images of these people. These paintings are held within Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies art collection.
