These notecards feature art from Walter J. Phillips (1894-1963), an artist-in-residence at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in the 1940s. He is famous for his woodblock prints and watercolours, which are exhibited throughout North America and Great Britain. The Walter Phillips Gallery is named in his honour. This collection is held at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria.
