Barb Renner was a mountain gal right from the beginning. Her father, an avid hiker and skier, took her to the mountains as a child. In her teens she worked at ski camps, cooking for Hans Gmoser. It was here that she met her future husband, Swiss Guide, Sepp Renner. But Barb is best known for the 27 years that she and Sepp ran Mount Assiniboine Lodge.
