Founded by artists and philanthropists Peter Whyte and Catharine Robb Whyte, the organization carries forward their vision: celebrating the spirit of our surroundings and the people who call them home, while using its collections as a lens to engage with broader world issues and contemporary cultural dialogues.

Archives and Special Collections appointments may be available
Tuesday – Friday, 1 to 5:00 p.m., to a maximum of three people.

The monitoring and replying to queries through our archives@whyte.org mailbox is limited to Tuesday – Friday, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Digital reproduction orders are available to order via our online database, but are limited to images that are currently digitized and available on the website.
Requests for the digitization of analog material require pre-approval by the Head Archives and Special Collections. Additional fees and restrictions may apply.
